Dear Anderson-McQueen Staff:

Rudy was my best friend for 11 years.  To have you take such extraordinary care of him during his cremation meant the world to me.  There are not enough words of thanks that I could say.  Warmest regards, Joni Raycroft

Dear Anderson-McQueen Staff:

Thank you for your kindness and expertise in taking care of our beloved Rudy.  Your appreciation of what he means to us is very special.  We are beginning the healing process.  Thank you very much!  April (Rudy's other "mom")

Dear Nikki and John

Thank you so very much for everything concerning the passing of our cat, Rosie.  She enjoyed 17 years and she added a lot of joy to our days.  You provide a beautiful and soothing atmosphere and your staff is so caring.  Amber, Anthony, and Cecile were very sonsoling.  So good to know our little one was in caring hands.

Love, Russ & Marilyn

My family would like to thank your family for taking such great care of our boxer Jake and for reaching out to us with your thoughtful letter.  He was a loving companion with a big personality.  It's nice to have him home and to have his paw print to look at.  Although I still can't bring myself to read the poem.  In time.  Thank you again for everything you have done.

Mr. McQueen,

We have been overwhelmed with all the kindness shown to us at this time.

You should know that we truly are grateful beyond words!

A special thank you goes to Bruce for his gentle phone call last week.

Most Sincerely,

Pet Parents of “George”

Dear Mr. McQueen and the Extraordinary Anderson McQueen Company Pet Passages Staff:

On April 11, 2012, my beloved pet, Coco Dvorak, was brought to your facility from the Haines Road Animal Hospital. On April 12, Haines Road called to tell me “Coco is here… from Anderson McQueen”. I was taken aback-and pleased! I had no idea my puppy would be taken to your facility- THE Anderson McQueen?! When I received the blue tote bag with her name on it, my first thought was “Oh how small”, but I couldn’t look at the contents until I got home.

When I took her out of her little brown box with the (very secure) brass clasp, I smiled. Then I saw the “Paws To Remember Bracelet” securing two small documents. I never expected a Cremation Certificate- I suppose I didn’t know what to expect since this is my first pet that I had until the end of her life. Then I opened the “In Memory Of Coco” card, and immediately saw her paw print!! I wept with joy… what a lovely gesture that you would do this! I NEVER thought of doing this… her paw print is now preserved like that of your child’s first bundle of his/her hair cutting. This little card also told me you treated my pet with compassion and respect! The other side of the card told me the story of Rainbow Bridge – what a lovely tale… I had never heard about Rainbow Bridge before, yet many of my pet-owning friends know this story – as I would find out later.

I also want to thank you for your April 19 letter reminding me of the “Pet Passages Grief Support” website. This letter made me feel less “crazy” about the grieving process I am going through; maybe a better way to state it is that your letter “validated” my grieving process and that you are aware of the many others who have gone through this phase. It warms my heart to know if you are this compassionate about a pet, your company MUST be so compassionate, loving and caring for a family who has lost a beloved person.

Thank you for all you do and thank you for supporting me and easing my pain.

Carol A. Dvorak

P.S. I put on the “Paws To Remember” bracelet on April 12: I have no plans to take it off. Thank you!
